New to Yoga?


*Please arrive 10 minutes early to class to allow time for you to set up/ settle in and be ready for the class to start.*

IMPORTANT:  If you are late for class and decide to enter the studio, please wait until 10 minutes AFTER the start of class so as not to interrupt your fellow student’s grounding and centering time. 

What to bring to class

  • Clothing that allows you to move easily
  • Yoga mat (we have mats for you to borrow too)
  • Towel (for hot yoga)
  • Water 
  • Yoga is practised barefoot at WBY

What NOT to bring to class!

  • Heavy perfume or body odour
  • A full stomach ( Jen’s favourite snack about 1 hour before yoga is an orange – hydrating and provides some energy)
  • A cell phone that may distract you  or other students
